Job summary

Ethos is seeking a visionary Head of Public Relations to lead strategic communications from a fully remote setting. The role requires deep expertise in integrated communication, corporate reputation, and media engagement to shape and protect the brand narrative across platforms.

You will develop and oversee all aspects of PR, mentor a distributed team, and partner with executives to navigate complex communications challenges while driving high-visibility initiatives and measurable results.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 10+ years of public relations experience, including leadership roles.
• Proven track record of developing and executing PR strategies with measurable results.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to influence C-suite executives.
• Experience working remotely with distributed teams and strategic oversight of corporate communications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive PR strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead and mentor the PR team to foster a high-performance culture.
• Oversee media relations, crisis management, and proactive outreach.
• Manage company reputation and brand across all channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with media contacts, influencers, and stakeholders.
• Create and approve press materials and key messaging.
• Plan communications for product launches and corporate announcements.
• Monitor PR campaigns and report to senior management.
• Advise senior leadership on PR risks and opportunities.
• Stay ahead of industry trends to keep the company at the forefront of practice.
