Job summary

Voodoo in Barcelona is seeking a Game Lead to own a top mobile title. You will build and lead a small team, set clear goals, drive execution with speed and ambition, and focus on core gameplay improvements in the first six months.

You will work across game design, level design, UI/UX, art and tech, monitor metrics like retention and monetization, and grow talent while keeping a high bar.

Qualifications

• 4 to 5+ years in the gaming industry (Development, Product, Design, Art, etc.).
• Mobile F2P market experience, ideally in design, with a track record in mobile games.
• Passion for mobile games and strong understanding of core gameplay and player experience.
• Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with strong leadership potential.
• Data-driven decision making and ability to move fast and iterate.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead your own small team, starting with around 4 people.
• Set clear goals and ensure the team reaches them.
• Lead, inspire and motivate the people working on the game.
• Focus on improving core gameplay, game feel, pacing and player satisfaction.
• Identify what makes the game fun today and what could improve tomorrow.
• Monitor and improve key metrics like retention, playtime and monetization.
• Be hands-on across game development: design, level design, UI/UX, art, and product decisions.
• Continuously improve the internal process of game creation and iteration.
• Manage your team's performance and growth, maintaining a high talent bar.
