Job summary

Jobgether is partnered to recruit a Full-Cycle Psychiatric Medical Billing & Revenue Cycle Specialist based in Spain for a US mental health practice.

You will manage end-to-end billing activities for psychiatric and behavioral health services, leveraging eClinicalWorks, posting payments, following up on AR, and handling denials. Strong attention to detail, English fluency, and independence in a remote setup are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of hands-on medical billing and full-cycle revenue cycle management experience.
• Recent psychiatric/behavioral health billing experience preferred.
• Experience with Medicare Part B billing requirements.
• Strong understanding of psychiatric CPT and ICD-10 codes, payer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle psychiatric and behavioral health medical billing including claims management, payment posting, accounts receivable, and collections.
• Review claims, balances, billing records, and outstanding issues for timely resolution.
• Investigate rejected/denied/underpaid claims and assist with corrections, resubmissions, and appeals.
• Maintain accurate payment records and accounts receivable information.
• Apply ICD-10/CPT codes per payer guidelines and psychiatric billing requirements.
• Use eCW to navigate patient accounts, review claims, and generate statements.
• Respond to patient inquiries and communicate with insurance representatives about claims and payments.
• Explain statements and routine billing questions clearly and professionally.
• Follow up on balances and approved payment arrangements.
• Ensure PHI privacy and patient data in line with privacy rules.
• Maintain documentation of billing activities and process changes.
• Meet service timelines and deliverables per contractor agreement.
