Job summary

Cepheid, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Field Application Engineer to support post-sale adoption and optimization of GeneXpert systems in clinical labs across the South Iberia region. You will drive uptime, adoption and value while partnering with customers and internal teams.

Requires Engineering/Biology degree and 2–3 years in diagnostics; fluent Spanish and English, Portuguese a plus. Remote work with substantial travel.

Qualifications

• Diploma and/or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Biology.
• 2–3 years’ experience in healthcare/biomedical or with laboratory customers.
• Fluent in the local language with strong English; Portuguese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pre-installation site assessments, install instruments and configure software.
• Provide ongoing support, install updates and enable connectivity.
• Deliver training on system operation, reagents and software.
• Perform repairs, preventive maintenance and spare parts management.
