Cepheid, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Field Application Engineer to support GeneXpert systems across the South Iberia region. You will install, optimize, and train users, ensuring high availability and value from diagnostics platforms in clinical labs.

Travel up to 80% and remote work are required; strong English and local language fluency are essential. Engineering and biology backgrounds preferred with biomedical industry experience.

Formación

• Diploma and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and Biology.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct pre-installation site assessments, install instruments and configure software and connectivity.
• Provide ongoing support during evaluation and after product launch, including assay conversions and software updates.
• Deliver training on system operation, software, reagents, and connectivity.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and relocations in a timely, cost-effective manner.
• Interpret customer needs and coordinate with functions to resolve issues and manage admin and technical matters.
• Manage spare parts and inventory for on-site needs.
