Jobgether is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to work remotely in Spain for a U.S. law firm handling divorce, custody, and related family law matters. You will draft pleadings, manage case files, and coordinate deadlines while maintaining professional client communication.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of paralegal or attorney experience, strong knowledge of U.S. family law, and excellent English communication. This remote role supports long-term engagements with U.S. attorneys.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a paralegal, lawyer, or attorney.
• At least 2 years of experience working as a family law paralegal for a law firm in the United States.
• Strong hands-on experience supporting U.S. family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, alimony, paternity, or related proceedings.
• Demonstrated experience drafting family law pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and legal correspondence.
• Experience reviewing and organizing financial records, mandatory disclosures, asset schedules, and liability documentation.
• Strong understanding of litigation deadlines, court filing requirements, and family court procedures.

Responsabilités

• Draft pleadings, motions, petitions, notices, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and legal correspondence.
• Prepare financial affidavits, mandatory disclosures, asset and liability schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Review financial records and prepare case materials for hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
• Coordinate hearings, depositions, mediations, conferences, and other case-related events.
• Track court deadlines, discovery timelines, hearing dates, and important milestones to ensure timely compliance.
• Prepare and submit court filings through applicable electronic filing systems.
• Communicate directly with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and coordinate next steps.
• Liaise with opposing counsel, courts, experts, mediators, and other parties with professionalism and discretion.
