Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced Directors of Environmental Compliance to help train an AI model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The role focuses on 4+ years in ecological research, environmental consulting, or applied biology to create and refine AI-generated reports across key workflows.

This is fully remote with flexible 5–20 hours per week, starting ASAP. You will interpret field and lab data and translate it into technical reports for regulators or clients while

Qualifications

• 4+ years conducting environmental impact assessments, ecological surveys, or regulatory compliance monitoring in a consulting, government, or academic setting.
• Direct experience interpreting field and lab data such as species counts, water and soil chemistry, or emissions readings and translating it into technical reports for regulators or clients.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated environmental documents (reports, spreadsheets, slide decks).
• Generate and interpret environmental data summaries for regulators or clients.
• Translate field/lab data into clear, compliant documents and proposals.
• Support core workflows with robust reporting on environmental aspects.
• Assist in refining methodologies for data collection and reporting.
• Collaborate with researchers and clients to ensure accuracy and clarity of deliverables.
