Job summary

Ethos is seeking a Head of Sustainability to help train an AI language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will create and refine high-quality outputs across environmental impact assessments, regulatory reports, and biodiversity summaries.

The role is fully remote with flexible hours (5–20 hours per week) and begins ASAP. Candidates should bring 4+ years in ecological research, environmental consulting, or applied biology and demonstrate superb written

Qualifications

• 4+ years conducting environmental impact assessments, ecological surveys, or regulatory compliance monitoring in a consulting, government, or academic setting
• Direct experience interpreting field and lab data such as species counts, water and soil chemistry, or emissions readings and translating it into technical reports for regulators or clients
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows (environmental reports, biodiversity surveys, water/soil data sheets)
• Interpret field and lab data and translate into technical reports for regulators or clients
• Support regulatory submissions and project proposals with precise documentation
