Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Programmatic EHS Manager to create, train, implement, and manage our Environmental, Health & Safety program for Low Voltage deployments. You will set standards, processes, and metrics that apply across sites and regions as we scale AI data center deployments.

You will own the program for Nscale's workforce, oversee contractor safety programs, and ensure compliance with OSHA and NFPA standards. This is a program role with occasional site coverage where gaps occur.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of EHS experience in construction, data center, telecom, or electrical/low-voltage environments.
• Experience creating and managing a multi-site EHS program.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA 1910 and 1926, NFPA 70E, and construction safety best practices.
• Hands-on experience running or overseeing a permit-required confined space program, including atmospheric monitoring, entry permits, and rescue planning.
• Experience working within multi-employer construction sites and coordinating with general contractor and owner safety programs.
• Proven experience with contractor safety management, incident investigation, root cause analysis, and OSHA recordkeeping.
• Ability to develop and deliver effective training to field crews and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own EHS program for Low Voltage across sites and contractors.
• Define program requirements for JHAs, pre-task planning, permits to work, and stop-work authority.
• Lead safety monitoring and incident investigations with CAPA.
• Coordinate training on program standards, hazard recognition, and high-risk work.
• Maintain training and competency records for all low-voltage personnel.
• Provide on-site safety coverage when needed and align with owner and contractor safety plans.
