Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Remote Project Manager to lead renewable energy projects across solar and wind portfolios. The role focuses on end-to-end project lifecycle from site assessment to commissioning, coordinating distributed teams and stakeholders across geographic locations including Castile and León.

The position requires 5+ years in renewable project management, strong leadership, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in renewable energy.
• Experience with solar and wind energy projects and permitting processes.
• Strong leadership and remote team coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6 and related tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; PMP a plus; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and delivery of renewable energy projects (solar, wind).
• Manage scope, budgets, timelines and resources for complex energy projects.
• Oversee site selection, feasibility studies and permitting processes.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors and regulators.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high safety standards.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies across multiple locations.
• Manage contracts and relationships with suppliers and third-party providers.
• Facilitate effective communication within remote project teams.
• Provide regular status reports to senior management.
