Job summary

CONVOTIS Iberia is seeking an experienced DevOps professional to automate lifecycle management and CI/CD pipelines using AWX and Ansible. You will work across Linux and Windows environments, scripting with Bash and Python, and support networking and databases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience (excluding internships).
• Hands-on experience with AWX and Ansible.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python, able to create scripts independently.
• Solid knowledge of Linux and Windows systems.
• Solid knowledge of databases and networking.
• Independent, structured way of working with a strong ownership mindset.
• Ability to train and onboard new colleagues.
• Fluent English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Automate lifecycle management using AWX and Ansible, ensuring reliable, repeatable processes.
• Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, integrating external automation.
• Carry out defined tasks on automation systems from planning to implementation.
• Create Bash and Python scripts to automate recurring tasks.
• Document environments and systems thoroughly before implementation.
• Design and document automation and network environments for projects.
• Suggest improvements to configurations and technical details.
• Train and onboard new colleagues and share knowledge within the team.
• Be part of the shift roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Support colleagues beyond core role to broaden expertise.
