Job summary

CONVOTIS Iberia is seeking an experienced DevOps professional to automate lifecycle management and CI/CD pipelines using AWX and Ansible. You will work across Linux and Windows environments, scripting with Bash and Python, and support networking and databases.

The role requires strong ownership, English and Spanish fluency, and the ability to train colleagues. It offers hybrid work options and opportunities for professional development within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience (excluding internships).
• Hands-on experience with AWX and Ansible.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python, able to create scripts independently.
• Solid knowledge of Linux and Windows systems.
• Solid knowledge of databases and networking.
• Independent, structured way of working with a strong ownership mindset.
• Ability to train and onboard new colleagues.
• Fluent English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

What To Expect

• You take care of the automation of our lifecycle management using AWX and Ansible, ensuring reliable, repeatable and scalable processes
• You build, maintain and improve our CI/CD pipelines, including the integration of existing external automation
• You independently carry out clearly defined tasks on our automation systems and see them through from planning to implementation
• You create Bash and Python scripts to automate recurring tasks and streamline operations
• You document environments and systems thoroughly, because at CONVOTIS we document everything before implementation
• You design and document automation and network environments for customer and internal projects
• You actively suggest improvements to configurations and technical details, helping to continuously raise the quality of our infrastructure
• You train and onboard new colleagues and share your knowledge within the team
• You are part of our shift roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays
• You support colleagues beyond your core role, whether to broaden your own expertise or simply to help the team

What We're Looking For

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience (excluding educational programs and internships)
• Extended, hands-on knowledge of AWX and Ansible
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python, with the ability to create scripts independently
• Extended knowledge of Linux and Windows systems
• Extended knowledge of databases and networking
• An independent, structured way of working and a strong sense of ownership
• The ability and motivation to train and onboard new colleagues
• Fluent English and Spanish
