Ironhack seeks a part-time Lead Instructor for its Data Engineering Bootcamp on the Remote campus. You will deliver the bootcamp curriculum, guide students through the full data pipeline lifecycle, and ensure students acquire job-ready data engineering skills.

The teacher will facilitate a highly practical program focusing on Python/SQL, Airflow/dbt, Spark, cloud data warehousing, and real-time data pipelines, culminating in a capstone project.

Formación

• 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
• Fluency in English for class delivery and in-company communication.
• Hands-on with Python, SQL, and pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt).
• Experience with distributed processing (Apache Spark).
• Familiarity with Snowflake, BigQuery or Redshift; real-time streaming (Kafka).
• Knowledge of governance, GDPR/PII and data quality concepts.
• Experience with Docker and Terraform for infrastructure automation.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the academic experience of the bootcamp.
• Teach at the Remote campus according to the schedule.
• Manage the Teaching Assistant and support the class.
• Foster a safe, energetic community for diverse learning styles.
• Inspire students to turn data problems into production-grade pipelines.
• Support student career goals and assess learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with PMs and Career Advisors to guide students.
• Administer assessments and provide timely feedback.
