UST España & Latam is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop and optimize scalable data pipelines on Snowflake and Azure, with emphasis on automation, security and governance. The role involves building dbt models, managing Airflow DAGs, and implementing CI/CD with Docker/Kubernetes in a remotely-based team.

The position requires strong Python skills and hands-on experience across Azure services, data modeling, and end-to-end cloud data solutions in Agile environments.

Formación

• 5+ years in Data Engineering roles.
• Minimum 3 years Snowflake development/admin.
• Strong Snowflake development/administration.
• Data modeling incl. Dimensional and Data Vault.
• Snowflake performance tuning and security.
• Hands-on dbt development.
• Airflow workflows experience.
• Advanced Python scripting.
• Azure services expertise.
• Azure storage, Functions, Key Vault, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes.
• End-to-end Azure data solutions in Agile teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines with Snowflake and Azure.
• Build data transformation frameworks using dbt.
• Develop and monitor Apache Airflow DAGs for orchestration.
• Create Python scripts and automation utilities for data processing.
• Implement CI/CD with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, performance.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and engineers.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve reliability.
• Support cloud-native architectures and data modernization.
• Contribute to data governance and operational excellence.
