UST is seeking a Data Engineer to design and implement secure, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale migrations using SQL, Python and AWS. The role requires data quality, reconciliation, and collaboration with business and technical stakeholders in a 100% remote setup within Spain.

Experience with customer, financial and transactional data migrations and solid knowledge of CI/CD and testing is preferred.

Formación

• Strong experience with SQL, Python, ETL/ELT pipelines and AWS for large-scale data migration projects.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise migrations involving customer, financial and transactional data.
• Hands‑on experience with data quality, reconciliation, validation controls and migration auditability.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, automated testing and modern data engineering best practices.
• Understanding of security, privacy, retention and access-control requirements for sensitive data.
• Strong communication skills, English proficiency, and ability to work with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for data extraction, transformation, validation, loading and reconciliation.
• Define source-to-target mappings and ensure data quality, consistency and integrity across migration processes.
• Develop reconciliation frameworks and controls for customer, operational and financial data.
• Support migration rehearsals, cutovers, defect resolution, performance tuning and restartable processing.
• Implement secure data handling practices, monitoring, logging and operational support procedures.
• Collaborate with analysts, SMEs and technical teams to resolve legacy‑data issues and ensure successful delivery.
