Freudenberg Sealing Technologies S.L.U. is seeking a Data Engineer to design and build scalable data pipelines, acquire and store data, and transform data into actionable insights for business teams.

The role collaborates with ML engineers, data scientists, and analysts to meet data-centric needs. Ideal candidates will have a strong SAP data and analytics background, Python/SQL proficiency, and experience with Databricks and cloud platforms such as Azure.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Datasphere, SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP HANA, CDS Views, ABAP fundamentals, SAP data extraction frameworks, and analytical data modeling best practices.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases; experience designing data pipelines and datasets.
• Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP data sources using SAP Datasphere, SAP Data Integration, Databricks, and modern data engineering frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and Azure; Infrastructure-as-Code concepts a plus.
• Business analytics, reporting, and BI process understanding; good English communication; German a plus.

• Data Acquisition and Storage: Develop efficient database solutions to collect, store, and secure data.
• Data Transformation: Create algorithms to convert raw data into actionable insights aligned with business objectives.
• Pipeline Optimization: Continuously evaluate and enhance existing data systems and processes for improved efficiency and reliability.
• Quality Assurance: Implement systems to validate accuracy and consistency of data sets.
• Collaboration: Work with ML engineers, data scientists, analysts and stakeholders to meet data-centric needs.
