Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking a Data Engineer in Spain to design and build scalable data pipelines, acquire and store data securely, and transform data into actionable insights for business decisions. You will work with SAP Datasphere, SAC, HANA and related tools, ensuring data quality and governance while collaborating with ML engineers, data scientists and analysts.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in CS/Data Engineering, have proven data engineering experience, and strong Python/SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Computer Science, Data Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Strong SAP Data & Analytics expertise including Datasphere, BDC, SAC, HANA, CDS Views, ABAP basics.

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust data pipelines across sources.
• Develop data storage solutions ensuring accessibility and protection.
• Create algorithms to transform raw data into insights aligned with business goals.
• Continuously optimize pipelines for efficiency and reliability.
• Implement QA to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
