Freudenberg Sealing Technologies S.L.U. is seeking a Data Engineer to design and build scalable data pipelines, acquire and store data securely, and transform raw data into insights. You will collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, and analysts to meet data-centric needs.

The role requires SAP Data & Analytics expertise (SAP Datasphere, SAC, HANA, CDS Views) and strong Python/SQL skills, along with cloud knowledge and excellent English communication. Master’s degree is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Proven SAP Data & Analytics expertise across SAP Datasphere, SAC, SAP HANA, CDS Views, ABAP fundamentals, and data modeling best practices.
• Strong Python and SQL skills; experience with relational and non-relational databases and building data pipelines.
• Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP data sources; familiarity with Databricks and modern data engineering frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms and Azure; Infrastructure-as-Code is a plus.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

• Design and Build Data Pipelines: Construct and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines to seamlessly integrate data from multiple sources.
• Data Acquisition and Storage: Develop efficient database solutions to collect, store, and secure data, ensuring accessibility and protection.
• Data Transformation: Create algorithms to convert raw data into actionable insights, aligning with our business objectives.
• Pipeline Optimization: Continuously evaluate and enhance existing data systems and processes for improved efficiency and reliability.
• Quality Assurance: Implement systems to validate and ensure the accuracy and consistency of data sets.
• Collaboration: Work closely with machine learning engineers, data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to meet the organization's data-centric needs.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Business Informatics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• SAP Data & Analytics Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP Datasphere, SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP HANA, CDS Views, ABAP fundamentals, SAP data extraction frameworks, and analytical data modeling best practices.
• Programming, Databases & Data Engineering: Proficiency in Python and SQL, strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, and experience designing and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and datasets.
• Data Integration & Platforms: Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP data sources, leveraging SAP Datasphere, SAP Data Integration capabilities, Databricks, and modern data engineering frameworks.
• Cloud Technologies & Infrastructure: Knowledge of cloud-based data platform architectures and modern cloud technologies; experience with Azure services and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts is a plus.
• Business Analytics & Reporting: Understanding of reporting, analytics, planning, and business intelligence processes, as well as the underlying data models and requirements that support them.
• Collaboration & Communication: Strong team-oriented mindset, creativity, and motivation to contribute to a shared vision, combined with excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus).

The gross annual salary for this position in Spain ranges from €43,000 to €45,000.

Compensation for this position will be determined by the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, and overall alignment with the role's responsibilities.
