Job summary

Clinica Montefiori is seeking a Remote Medical Equipment Support and Maintenance Technician to join a remote-first team. You will provide high-level technical support for sophisticated medical devices, troubleshoot remotely, and guide on-site staff.

Strong biomedical/electronics background and excellent communication are essential. Based from a remote-friendly location in Spain, you will support healthcare facilities, collaborate with R&D, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience maintaining and supporting medical equipment.
• Strong understanding of medical device technology (electronic, mechanical, software).
• Experience using diagnostic tools and interpreting schematics.
• Excellent remote communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for installation, calibration, troubleshooting and maintenance of medical devices.
• Assist on-site field service engineers and clinical staff with complex diagnostics and repairs.
• Analyze equipment data and logs to identify root causes.
• Guide users through standard procedures and basic troubleshooting steps.
• Document all activities, resolutions, and equipment status.
• Collaborate with R&D and engineering for feedback and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (FDA, CE) and quality systems.
• Develop and update technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.
• Monitor performance trends and identify potential failure points.
• Respond promptly to critical issues to minimize disruption.
