Maersk in Algeciras invites a regional coordination professional to oversee Gemini-related operations and partner communications across regions. You will ensure timely escalation, resolve operational issues, and coordinate contingency actions in a dynamic port environment.

The role requires strong relationship-building, adaptability, and a deep understanding of shipping operations to protect Maersk's interests and align with global standards.

Mansioni

• Represent Maersk interests within Gemini at regional level, coordinating with Gemini Partners on operational matters.
• Act as first line of escalation for cargo, schedules, berthing optimization across services within and across regions.
• Coordinate regional responses to port constraints, outages and cargo issues, with a global perspective.
• Serve as SME on Joint Working Procedures to protect Maersk's interests and ensure correct interpretation.
• Take regional ownership of contingency handbooks and seasonal negotiations with partners.
• Handle exceptions and manage relationships with partners regionally and with GEC/RCCs for consistency.
• Support regional/HQ Finance on schedule reliability and short shipment penalty schemes and verifications.
