Job summary

Bimbo QSR is seeking a Regional Maintenance & Automation Supervisor to lead maintenance and automation for a production line. You will supervise technicians, drive preventive maintenance, and support reliability and OEE improvements.

You will coordinate retrofit projects, ensure safety standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve asset performance. The role emphasizes technical leadership, fast fault diagnosis, and implementation of structured automation strategies to reduce

Qualifications

Technical degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, automation, or related field.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Advanced knowledge of Rockwell and Siemens platforms.
Fluency in English and/or Spanish.
Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience leading maintenance teams.
Experience with PLC and HMI/SCADA programming.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate maintenance technicians.
Ensure preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance and lubrication activities.
Verify quality and closure of work orders in CMMS.
Coordinate maintenance resources and spare parts.
Rapid response to equipment failures and line interruptions.
Support root cause investigations and reliability improvements.
Support automation retrofit projects and digital transformation initiatives.
Ensure safety and food safety compliance and cross-functional collaboration.
Coach and develop maintenance technicians and promote knowledge transfer.
