Sani/Ikos Group in Madrid seeks a senior Design & Project Coordination professional to lead refurbishment programs across hotel properties, ensuring design intent, brand standards and operational compatibility.

You will coordinate with General Managers, Delivery, Procurement, Facilities Management and Operations, monitor quality, manage budgets and deliver regular updates to stakeholders; fluent English is required, Greek or Spanish preferred, willingness to travel.

Formación

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with 8+ years of hospitality refurbishment experience.
• Strong coordination skills and knowledge of luxury hospitality standards and guest experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; English fluent; Greek and/or Spanish preferred; willingness to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Mandate: Support recurring CAPEX planning and asset assessment across the hotel portfolio, coordinate disciplines, ensure interventions align with design intent, brand standards, and operations.
• Stakeholder & Project Coordination: Act as the main Design department contact with hotel General Managers and operational teams; coordinate with Delivery, Procurement, Facilities Management, and Operations through all project phases; support planning and execution to minimize disruption.
• Design Oversight & Site Supervision: Monitor implementation quality; participate in site visits, inspections, mock‑ups, and coordination meetings; review materials/FF&E; resolve deviations affecting quality, guest experience, or operations.
• Budget & Reporting Support: Support CAPEX budget tracking and cost-efficiency reviews; assist in evaluating refurbishment solutions; prepare updates and status presentations.

Mandate

Support recurring CAPEX planning and asset assessment activities across the hotel portfolio, identify projects requiring involvement from Architecture, Interior Design, Lighting, Landscape, MEP, and specialist disciplines, coordinate project scopes, design requirements, and technical inputs for recurring CAPEX initiatives, and ensure all interventions align with approved design intent, brand standards, and operational requirements.

Stakeholder & Project Coordination

Act as the main Design department contact with hotel General Managers and operational teams, coordinate with Delivery, Procurement, Facilities Management, and Operations teams throughout all project phases, and support planning, phasing, and execution strategies to minimize operational disruption during refurbishment works.

Design Oversight & Site Supervision

Monitor implementation quality and ensure works are executed according to approved design intent and specifications. Participate in site visits, inspections, mock‑up reviews, and coordination meetings across hotel properties. Review materials, finishes, FF&E replacements, and technical solutions to ensure consistency with company standards, and identify and resolve deviations affecting quality, guest experience, or operational functionality.

Budget & Reporting Support

Support CAPEX budget tracking and cost‑efficiency reviews in coordination with Finance and Delivery teams, assist in evaluating alternative refurbishment solutions while maintaining quality standards, and prepare project updates, reports, and status presentations for internal stakeholders.

What will you bring?

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, with 8+ years of experience in hospitality refurbishment, CAPEX management, design coordination, or hotel project delivery.
• Strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards, operational environments, and guest experience requirements, with experience coordinating multidisciplinary refurbishment projects across operational assets.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project coordination tools preferred, with fluent English required; Greek and/or Spanish preferred, and willingness to travel regularly across hotel properties.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills, attention to detail and commitment to quality standards, and understanding of hospitality refurbishment and operational constraints.
• Ability to manage multiple projects within active hotel environments, with a proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.
