A leading hospitality group in Madrid is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to support design processes and manage external consultants. The ideal candidate has over 7 years of architectural design experience, particularly in hospitality projects, and a strong proficiency in industry-standard design tools like AutoCAD and Photoshop. Your main purpose

• Provide support to the Senior Interior Design Manager by supervising design processes prepared by outsourced Architecture and Design studios for new Group projects; manage external design consultants, providing clear input on their deliverables, both at the conceptual stage and through detailed reviews of technical and construction drawing packages; support consultants during deliverables, leading workshops and contributing design ideas related to materials, layouts, and construction solutions.
• Design, plan, develop, and conceptualize interior design ideas for in-house projects; develop visual and technical documentation including mood boards, hand sketches, CAD drawings, Photoshop work, and 3D models, in collaboration with the internal design team.
• Support the Design Department in the development of the Group Design Guidelines, to be used by external and internal teams in all future projects; research and create FF&E designs and presentations, including bespoke furniture concepts and detailing in coordination with the specifications team.
• Carry out site visits to oversee construction progress; review and comment on material samples, mock-ups, and site implementations to ensure quality and alignment with design vision; ensure compliance with target schedules and budgets, understanding the implications of design decisions and proposals, and maintaining close coordination with cross‑functional teams.
• Manage workload and priorities to meet project deadlines and support the coordination of team efforts; collaborate closely with internal teams (Architecture, Procurement, Development, Operations) to ensure design intent is maintained throughout all project phases.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations and design documentation for internal and external stakeholders; stay updated on industry trends, materials, and innovations in hospitality design.

What will you bring?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in architectural design, with a focus on hospitality projects; strong understanding of the concept and design development process, project documentation, and material specifications.
• Proven experience working with hotel operators, consultants, and multidisciplinary design teams; strong interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent client presentation ability.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks in a fast‑paced environment; full professional proficiency in English (interview will be conducted in English).
• International experience on similar‑scale projects will be valued.
• Proficient in industry‑standard design software: AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Office; 3D software (3ds Max, SketchUp, Rhino, etc.) is a plus.
