Sani/Ikos Group is seeking a Civil & Structural Coordination Specialist to oversee multidisciplinary design coordination across schematic, detailed design, tender and construction phases for hospitality projects in Madrid, Spain.
You will review technical submissions, coordinate with consultants and internal teams to ensure buildability, design intent and regulatory compliance, while supporting project delivery and continuous improvement across the engineering coordination standards.

Civil & Structural Coordination: Support the coordination and integration of Civil, Structural, and infrastructure-related systems throughout schematic design, detailed design, tender, and construction phases, and review drawings, technical reports, calculations, consultant submissions, and coordination packages.
Oversee the coordination between Civil and Structural integration with Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape, MEP, Infrastructure, and specialist disciplines, and identify technical conflicts, coordination gaps, and constructability issues, supporting timely resolution.
Consultant Coordination & Technical Reviews: Coordinate with external Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, and Infrastructure consultants across projects, review technical submissions and consultant deliverables to ensure alignment with project requirements and company standards, and participate in coordination meetings, technical workshops, and design review sessions.
Design Intent & Technical Quality: Support the protection of approved architectural and landscape design intent throughout project evolution, assist in evaluating engineering solutions to ensure they support spatial quality, operational functionality, and guest experience objectives, ensure Civil and Structural systems are developed considering buildability, maintainability, durability, and operational efficiency, and contribute to lessons learned initiatives and continuous improvement of engineering coordination standards.
Regulatory Compliance & Technical Standards: Support compliance reviews against applicable local regulations, building codes, and technical standards across the company portfolio, assist in coordinating compliance with seismic, fire life safety, accessibility, infrastructure, and structural requirements, and coordinate with local consultants and specialist engineers regarding statutory and technical compliance requirements.
Construction & Delivery Support: Support tender and construction phases through technical reviews, shop drawing evaluations, and coordination activities, participate in site visits, inspections, and technical assessments, and assist in resolving technical and coordination issues during project execution phases.
