Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe (Madrid) is seeking a Modelling and Simulation System Engineer to design and implement real-time software models of aircraft subsystems, such as navigation, avionics, and hydraulics, using C, C++, Python, or Ada on Linux.

You will integrate models with simulator hardware, perform end-to-end testing, and validate performance to meet Airbus safety, quality, and defense industry standards.

Formación

• Aeronautical, Telecommunication, Software or Industrial Engineering degree.
• At least 5 years of previous experience.
• Advanced level in English.
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, Ada; Linux and Qt knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Design and program real-time software models simulating the dynamic behavior of the aircraft and its systems.
• Interface the developed software models with physical simulator hardware and components; perform end-to-end system integration testing and performance validation.
• Ensure delivered simulation products comply with international safety, quality and defense industry standards.
