Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking a Junior Software Engineer (Modeling and Simulation) to contribute to the development and maintenance of advanced simulation tools for aerospace systems. You will design, implement, test, and document models, collaborating across software and hardware teams in a multidisciplinary setting.

The role requires a degree in a relevant field and solid programming skills in Python, C++, or MATLAB/Simulink, with English and Spanish proficiency.

Formación

• University degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
• Solid programming knowledge in languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB/Simulink.
• Familiarity with dynamic system modeling and simulation principles.
• Experience with version control tools (Git).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Good oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and implement models and simulations for the analysis of complex systems.
• Collaborate on the integration of simulation models with existing software and hardware.
• Perform testing and validation of developed models and tools.
• Document code, models, and development processes.
• Participate in troubleshooting and software debugging.
• Support the full software development lifecycle, from conceptualization to implementation and maintenance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in modeling, simulation, and software development.
