Qualifications

• 5–8 years of backend engineering experience in distributed systems.
• Hands-on with REST APIs and API design.
• Experience with Kubernetes in production.
• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ messaging systems.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin or Python.
• Knowledge of HIPAA/GDPR compliance in security.
• Ability to optimize performance and scalability.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs.
• Implement event-driven integrations with messaging systems.
• Collaborate on architecture decisions and data models.
• Optimize for low latency, high throughput, cost efficiency.
