Roc360 Spain, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Roc360, is expanding its team in Madrid. The Real Estate Analyst (Underwriting) will work directly with our loan underwriting team to review and evaluate new lending opportunities.

Responsabilidades

• Underwriting Support: Assist with the underwriting of fix & flip and rental loans.
• Financial & Asset Analysis: Analyze borrower repayment capacity, property-level statements, and third-party reports.
• Credit Committee Preparation: Prepare and present comprehensive credit reports to the Credit Committee.
• Due Diligence: Audit and verify underwriting due diligence documentation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal support staff in appraisals, closing, trades, etc.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with loan origination team and third parties on submissions.
• Industry Compliance: Stay up-to-date on laws, guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Ad-Hoc Projects: Assist in other tasks and strategic projects.

Roc360 Spain, a wholly-owned subsidiary, is expanding its team in Madrid. Our existing Spanish hub supports the US core business across critical areas including loan underwriting, closing, appraisal management, technology, finance, and loan servicing.

Job Description

Roc360 originates thousands of lending opportunities in the US each month through a combination of third-party brokers and an internal sales team.

All lending opportunities are individually assessed by our internal loan underwriting department. This team completes detailed credit assessments in line with Roc360’s lending criteria and recommends loans to the Credit Committee for approval. Loan sizes vary from $100k to $30M, secured by US single-family properties, multi-family units, mixed-use buildings, and large property portfolios (5+ units).

As a Real Estate Analyst (Underwriting), you will work directly with our loan underwriting team to review and evaluate new lending opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwriting Support: Assist with the underwriting of fix & flip and rental loans.
• Financial & Asset Analysis: Analyze borrower repayment capacity, property-level historical operating statements, and third-party reports (real estate appraisals, engineering, environmental, and zoning reports).
• Credit Committee Preparation: Assist in the preparation and presentation of comprehensive credit reports to the Credit Committee.
• Due Diligence: Audit and verify the accuracy of underwriting due diligence documentation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal support staff in appraisals, closing, trades, etc.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with the loan origination team and third parties to provide feedback on loan submissions.
• Industry Compliance: Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulatory guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Ad-Hoc Projects: Assist in other tasks and strategic projects as required.

Candidate Profile

• Education: Recent undergraduate or Master’s degree with a strong academic track record.
• Experience: 3+ years of professional work experience.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English (professional working proficiency is required).
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Industry Interest: Deep interest in the real estate sector and knowledge of broader macroeconomic trends.
• Analytical Mindset: Excellent analytical skills, including financial modeling, projection, and stress-testing capabilities.
