Volpak in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, Spain, is seeking a Software Engineer in the R&D department to develop machine software for packaging equipment, including PLC, HMI interfaces and safety features.

You will perform automation design, customize software from a standard platform, commission machines at customer sites, train technicians, and support the service team, with travel up to 20%, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Formación

Degree in Software or Automation Engineering.
At least 5 years in industrial automation.
Experience with PLC, HMI interfaces and safety integration.
English and Spanish proficiency.

Responsabilidades

Automate design of packaging machines.
Develop customized software programs for machines from a standard platform (PLC, HMI, safety).
Commission and start-up machines at Volpak sites.
Develop new software platforms and implement motion and automation techniques.
Prepare guidelines and documentation for machine operation.
Train technicians and support the service team.
Contribute to achieving technical, functional and quality goals.
