Savant Network, líder en soluciones industriales, busca un Ingeniero de Automatización para unirse a su equipo de ingeniería en Cataluña. Este rol abarca desarrollo, programación, puesta en marcha y soporte técnico de sistemas de automatización industriales.

Trabajarás con PLC, SCADA/HMI, y equipos de maquinaria internacional, viajando aproximadamente 30–40%. Se valorará experiencia en CODESYS, redes industriales y visión artificial, además de fluidez en inglés.

Formación

• Título en Automatización, Ingeniería Eléctrica o Electrónica Industrial.
• Experiencia sólida en automatización industrial y programación PLC.
• Conocimientos prácticos de SCADA/HMI y redes industriales.

Responsabilidades

• Analizar, diseñar y programar sistemas de automatización industriales.
• Desarrollar, modificar y mantener aplicaciones PLC y SCADA/HMI.
• Puesta en marcha y arranque de maquinaria en sitios de clientes.
• Integrar equipos de terceros en maquinaria automatizada.
• Solucionar fallos de automatización y comunicaciones.
• Proporcionar soporte técnico remoto y en sitio a clientes.
• Colaborar con Ingeniería y After Sales para resolver problemas.
• Documentar operaciones y mantenimiento de forma clara.
• Contribuir a la mejora continua de soluciones de automatización.

We are supporting an established international industrial machinery company in the search for an Automation Engineer to join its engineering team.

The company designs, manufactures and provides technical support for highly automated industrial equipment used by customers across international markets. With a strong focus on technology, innovation and continuous improvement, the business operates in a highly technical, engineering-driven environment where automation plays a critical role in machine performance and customer satisfaction.

The Role

As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, programming, commissioning and technical support of industrial automation systems and machinery.

This is a hands‑on role combining PLC programming, machine commissioning, troubleshooting and customer technical support, with significant exposure to complex industrial equipment and international projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse, design and program industrial automation systems.
• Develop, modify and maintain PLC and SCADA/HMI applications.
• Commission and start up machinery at customer sites.
• Integrate third-party equipment and systems into automated machinery.
• Troubleshoot automation, control and communication issues.
• Provide technical support to customers, both remotely and on site.
• Work closely with Engineering and After Sales teams to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare clear and accurate operational and maintenance documentation.
• Support continuous improvement of automation solutions and machine performance.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronics or a related technical discipline.
• Solid professional experience in industrial automation and PLC programming.
• Strong experience with CODESYS.
• Practical experience with SCADA/HMI systems.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as PROFIBUS, PROFINET, CAN and Industrial Ethernet.
• Experience with servo drives, motion control and frequency converters.
• Experience programming and commissioning industrial machinery.
• Experience integrating machine vision / inspection camera systems is highly valued.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience providing remote technical support.
• Fluent English; Spanish is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally, approximately 30–40%.
