HTBA HealthTech Bio Actives, S.L.U. is hiring an R&D Project Manager to lead the development and scale-up of chemical processes, from laboratory work to industrial plant production in Murcia, Spain.

The role requires a degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, 2+ years in chemical synthesis, and strong English (C1) and Spanish skills. You will design processes, coordinate lab activities, support production, and collaborate with Operations, Sales and Marketing.

Formación

• Experience: Proven track record in process development and scale-up.
• Technical background: 2+ years in chemical synthesis.
• Languages: High level English (C1) and Spanish.
• Proactivity and analytical thinking.

R&D Project Manager

The R&D Project Manager role is responsible on the development and scale-up of chemical processes, from the laboratory stage to industrial plant production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize chemical processes.
• Scale up processes to an industrial level.
• Coordinate R&D laboratory activities.
• Provide technical support to the production plant.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams.

Candidate Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven track record in process development and scale-up.
• Technical Background: 2+ years of experience in chemical synthesis.
• Languages: High level of English C1 and Spanish.
• Proactivity and analytical thinking.

Desirable Qualifications :

• PhD in Organic Synthesis.
• Experience in ingredients (Pharma/Food), natural extracts, or the use of AI.
