BioSystems seeks a highly motivated R&D professional to contribute to the design and development of biochemical and immunoturbidimetric reagents and reference materials. You will design experiments, evaluate technical feasibility, and prepare documentation for manufacturing and quality control.

The role requires 3+ years in R&D, PhD or MSc in a relevant field, and strong English communication within a global team. Flexible, innovation‑driven environment with cross-functional collaboration awaits.

Formación

• PhD or master's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related scientific discipline.
• ≥ 3 years’ experience in R&D environments with experimental design and product development.
• Experience with techniques for characterization and quantification of biological markers (proteins, ions, metabolites, or enzymes).
• Strong knowledge of analytical methodologies and product technologies.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken) for global collaboration.

At BioSystems, we design, develop, manufacture, and deliver analytical solutions for both the clinical sector—human and veterinary—and the industrial sector, including food & beverage, agriculture, and bioprocessing.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our R+D+I team, contributing to the design and development of products within our portfolio of biochemical and immunoturbidimetric reagents and reference materials.

Core Responsibilities

• Continuously acquire and maintain scientific and technical knowledge.
• Evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of research objectives.
• Design and develop new products, as well as improve and maintain existing products.
• Plan, design, and execute experimental studies.
• Define and prepare technical documentation required for manufacturing and quality control.
• Contribute to cross functional teamwork, supporting multidisciplinary projects and ensuring efficient communication between R+D+i, Quality, Operations, and Customer.
• Provide scientific and technical support to internal departments including Operations, Customer, and Business units.

Required

• PhD or master's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related scientific discipline.
• Previous experience working in R+D environments (≥ 3 years), contributing to experimental design, data analysis, and product development activities.
• Experience in techniques for the characterization and quantification of biological markers (proteins, ions, metabolites or enzymes).
• Solid knowledge in the relevant scientific-technical areas, ensuring the ability to understand, develop, and optimize analytical methodologies and product technologies.
• Feel comfortable in English. Both written and spoken, enabling effective communication in a global and multidisciplinary environment.
• Ability to interact and work within a multidisciplinary R+D+i team alongside software engineers, biochemists, biologists, mechanical engineers, electronics engineers, and others.
• Familiarity with regulatory environments and quality management systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Knowledge of the in vitro diagnostic (IVD) sector.
• Knowledge of chemical and/or enzymatic reagents.
