Mackinnon Bruce International in Valencia, Spain, seeks a technically credible Project Manager for its R&D function to lead a major European research consortium through 2030. You will translate consortium objectives into structured R&D activity, coordinate internal scientists and external partners, and manage milestones, work packages and deliverables while protecting proprietary technology and IP.

• Background in polymers, biopolymers, materials science, chemical engineering, chemistry or sustainable packaging.
• Experience in technical R&D with proven project-management capability.
• Experience with European-funded programmes (Horizon Europe, CBE JU, LIFE) and international consortia.
• IP awareness is advantageous but not required; patent protection knowledge helps.
• Advanced English and ability to communicate across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate European-funded R&D projects and international consortium activity.
• Manage project plans, milestones, deliverables, reporting and technical documentation.
• Coordinate internal scientists, technicians and external research partners.
• Review and interpret scientific and technical information.
• Coordinate laboratory, pilot-plant and experimental activity.
• Support research on sustainable packaging materials, polymers and biopolymers.
• Manage communication with international project stakeholders.
• Support IP portfolio and strategy.
• Interface with external patent specialists and legal advisers.
• Protect proprietary formulations and trade secrets.
• Contribute to future R&D, innovation and industrialisation projects.
