Job summary

Lightsource bp in Madrid is seeking a Project Manager to lead the technical design, development, and implementation of automated material handling solutions for industrial clients. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure delivery from RFQ through commissioning, within budget, time, and quality targets.

The role requires an engineering degree, hands-on project management experience in automation or intralogistics, strong RFQ and budgeting skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Experience in managing or supporting engineering projects in automation/intralogistics.
• Strong RFQ, cost estimation, and project budgeting knowledge.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Availability to work on-site in Madrid and travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and development of automated material handling systems.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Review RFQ documentation and prepare cost estimations.
• Translate customer requirements into functional system designs.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to align project stages.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Serve as the technical interface with customers and suppliers.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation actions.
