K-LAGAN in Madrid is seeking a Project Manager responsible for the technical design, development, and implementation of automated material handling solutions for industrial clients.

The role blends project management, technical engineering, and customer coordination, guiding projects from RFQ through commissioning while meeting budget, quality, and timing targets. English proficiency is required; on-site in Madrid with occasional international travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering.
• Experience in managing or supporting engineering projects, ideally in automation or material handling.
• Strong knowledge of RFQ processes, cost estimation and budgeting.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Availability to work on-site in Madrid and travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and development of automated material handling systems.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Coordinate RFQ documentation, preparing detailed cost estimations and feasibility analyses.
• Translate customer requirements into functional system designs and specifications.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams across project stages.
• Oversee installation, testing and commissioning to meet objectives.
• Serve as a technical interface with customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Identify risks and propose corrective actions during the project lifecycle.
