Job summary

PowerCo Spain Battery Spain S.A.U. in Sagunto (Valencia) is seeking a logistics automation engineer to design and implement automated intra-logistics solutions, including AGVs, ASRS and conveyors, to boost material handling efficiency.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize warehouse layouts, ensure safety compliance, document processes, and coordinate with headquarters across Salzgitter and other plants to drive CAPEX/OPEX projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse management software and logistics planning tools.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Lean thinking to optimize supply chain and reduce costs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to anticipate and mitigate logistics risks.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in logistics.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated intra-logistics technologies (AGVs, ASRS, conveyors) to improve material handling.
• Optimize warehouse layout for space utilization, flow and accessibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for installation and commissioning of equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in logistics activities.
• Create and maintain documentation of processes and configurations.
• Develop operational instructions and training materials.
• Coordinate with Headquarters and plants for project alignment.
• Support CAPEX and OPEX optimization in logistics projects.
