Job summary

Lightsource bp in Madrid is seeking an Asset Manager to lead the Asset Management team within the Portfolio Management structure. You will report to the Portfolio Manager and oversee daily operations, ensuring timely delivery of projects and accurate reporting.

The role requires 3–4 years in a similar position with at least 3 years of people management experience, knowledge of Spanish labor law and payroll/HR systems, advanced Excel, and strong communication skills. English fluency preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years' experience in a similar position.
• Minimum 3 years' experience managing people.
• Knowledge Labor Law, Social security and Taxes in Spain and /or Portugal (a plus).
• Knowledge of Payroll and HR systems.
• Advanced knowledge in Excel.
• Knowledge and experience in Project Managing.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to resolve customer inquiries and escalated issues within prescribed SLAs.
• Ability to work in a changing environment.
• Proven ability to build and manage high performance operational teams.
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems through effective customer interface and communication.

Responsibilities

• Follow-up on daily activities with the team to ensure timely completion of project tasks.
• Support the Strategy and Goals defined for the Business Unit.
• Allocate resources to Implementation projects.
• Manage workload and assess capacity of the team.
• Ensure standard processes are followed by team members.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide support.
• Ensure team members are trained to perform implementations.
• Identify additional training needs for team development.
• Monitor productivity and performance, especially during peak months.
• Prepare Goals & Objectives and communicate progress to team members.
• Support activities that improve engagement and NPS scores.
• Act as escalation point for Project Managers and Consultants.
• Deploy and apply best practices across departments.
• Analyze data and prepare reports for the Director and other areas (Billing, Service, Tier 2).
• Coach the team in development plans with Director and HR Manager.
• Manage scheduling, holidays, backups and policies.
• Participate in strategic initiatives to increase productivity and efficiency.
