Lineage in Milagro, Navarra, seeks an experienced QHSSE Officer to lead and embed a strong Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental culture. You will support audits, incident investigations, risk assessments and continuous improvement across the site, working with operations and regional teams to ensure compliance and safe delivery of projects.

You’ll play a key role in driving QHSSE performance, training and communications, ensuring adherence to Lineage standards and applicable laws

Formación

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education, together with QHSSE qualifications (such as NEBOSH Diploma, MSc or equivalent).
  • Professional knowledge of health and safety legislation, quality and environmental requirements, ideally within a cold storage, logistics, manufacturing or similar operational environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both frontline employees and senior management.
  • Experience supporting audits, incident investigations, risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • A customer-focused and collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively within a matrix organisation.

Responsabilidades

  • Implement and maintain Lineage QHSSE standards, programmes and management systems across the site.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, health and safety, security and environmental requirements.
  • Lead and support internal and external audits, including customer, regulatory and certification audits.
  • Investigate incidents, carry out root cause analysis and develop effective corrective and preventative actions.
  • Support the development of a strong QHSSE-first culture through training, workshops, safety communications and employee engagement.
  • Conduct and support risk assessments and help ensure safe delivery of engineering and technical projects.
  • Support Process Safety Management (PSM), emergency response and contractor management activities.
  • Maintain security processes, including access control, CCTV and relevant AEO/ISPS requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, including waste management, emissions and chemical storage and handling.
  • Monitor QHSSE performance and trends, preparing reports and providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Keep up to date with changes in legislation and industry best practice and ensure these are communicated effectively across the site.
  • Work collaboratively with Operations, HR, Engineering, Procurement and other functions to embed QHSSE into everyday activities.

We are looking for an experienced QHSSE Officer to join our team in Milagro. you'll play a key part in creating and maintaining a strong Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (QHSSE) culture, ensuring our operations meet legal, regulatory, customer and Lineage standards. Working closely with the General Manager, operational teams and the Regional QHSSE team, you'll provide hands-on support, expert guidance and practical solutions to continuously improve QHSSE performance across the site.

What You'll Be Doing
