Nordex is seeking a Director Project Quality Management in Alcobendas, Spain, to lead the Project Quality Management area through contract signing to handover. You will be the Customer’s voice on quality, ensuring QA/QC across NX processes and guiding the PQM Team globally and regionally.

The role requires 5+ years leading quality teams on complex technical projects, experience with Quality Management Systems, 8D, Six Sigma, and FMEA, and strong English communication.

Formación

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading quality teams or alike in operative project execution and construction management for complex technical projects.
• Experience with developing Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with 8D, Six Sigma, FMEA, and other standard of good quality practice.
• Proven leadership and management skills and ability to create a strong and successful team.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills in English language (spoken and written).
• High English level is compulsory
• Availability to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Tender, Bid and Sales Support working with Sales Customer function Extend the ITAP and standardize Quality activity into contractual package Build stronger alliances with commercial and technical Sales team Implement feedback from ongoing project (learnings) into Tender, Bid & Sales Projects.
• Project Quality Management and Continuous operational excellence Quality safe launch and perfect execution of projects Ensure Quality execution basis, transferring contract requirements to all functions: PQP & ITAP Plan and complete Inspection, Test and Audit activities according to ITAP Secure Quality of components before handed over to construction Secure quality documentation availability and correctness complying with contract milestones
• Deviation Management in projects Drive Deviation Management and Continuous Improvement to closure Safeguard and reporting of Non-Conformance, NQC cost and Concessions, in cooperation with “Non Conformity Management” area Drive NCR/8D, Findings from operations and Final Walk downs to closure Project Claims management/overview and performance

MISSION: lead the Project Quality Management area (PQM), being the Customer's voice in relation to Quality from contract signing until the project is handed over to Service. The PQM function will assure Quality of the WTG delivery meet customer’s specifications following NX processes. The role is responsible for leading the PQM Team, global and regional, ensuring efficient Quality Management and QA/QC throughout the customer project.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading quality teams or alike in operative project execution and construction management for complex technical projects either in civil construction, automotive and manufacturing and plant engineering industry
• Experience with developing Quality Management Systems
• Experience with 8D, Six Sigma, FMEA, and other standard of good quality practice
• Proven leadership and management skills and ability to create a strong and successful team Efficient in terms of time and cost saving.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills in English language (spoken and written)
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and customers
• High English level is compulsory
• Availability to travel
