Green Media Lab in Madrid is seeking a proactive PR Account Executive to lead strategic PR initiatives for national and international clients. You will manage key client relationships and execute media campaigns across multiple sectors.

Reporting to the Country Manager, the role requires strong editorial skills, a robust media network, and the ability to collaborate with digital, creative, and events teams to deliver integrated campaigns.

• Minimum of 5 years of PR and press office experience in a structured agency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
• Native-level fluency in Spanish and professional English; Italian is a plus.

The Role

We are seeking a proactive, highly skilled PR Account Executive for our subsidiary in Madrid, with a strong background in communication agencies. Reporting directly to the Country Manager, you will drive strategic PR initiatives, manage key client relationships, and execute high-profile media relations campaigns across international markets.

Main Responsibilities

• Define and implement comprehensive PR and media relations strategies tailored to client goals.
• Cultivate and manage strong relationships with top-tier journalists, influencers, industry leaders, and key stakeholders (with a strong emphasis on specialized sectors such as the nautical/marine industry).
• Draft and distribute compelling press kits, releases, backgrounders, and editorial content in Spanish and English.
• Oversee daily press office operations, press tours, media partnerships, and press representation at major events and trade shows.
• Track press coverage, evaluate media impact, and prepare detailed quantitative and qualitative reports (covering reach, sentiment analysis, and KPIs).
• Partner with internal digital, creative, and event teams, as well as international agency partners, to ensure seamless execution across all channels.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of PR and press office experience within a structured communication agency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Native-level fluency in Spanish, professional full fluency in English; working knowledge of Italian is a plus.
• Proven track record in media relations and PR activations. Experience in lifestyle, sports, outdoor, and technology sectors being highly desirable.
• Strong track record of managing integrated communication campaigns (PR, digital, and live events) in fast-paced agency environments.
• Outstanding editorial skills, advanced analytical capacity, and a robust network of media and influencer relationships, coupled with a solution-oriented, dynamic attitude.
