Sporty Group in Madrid is seeking a PR Coordinator to shape its global communications in sport, tech and entertainment. You’ll support the Media and PR Director, work with agencies, journalists and internal teams across multiple markets to ensure consistent messaging and impactful press coverage.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of agency or in-house PR experience, excellent writing and a solid understanding of international media landscapes, with native English or bilingual proficiency.

  • 3–5 years of Public Relations, Corporate Communications or Media Relations experience.
  • Experience in the sports industry or sports media is preferred.
  • Native English speaker or fully bilingual.
  • Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills.
  • Strong understanding of international media landscapes and agency collaboration.

We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious PR Coordinator to join our team and help shape the reputation of one of the world's fastest-growing sports and technology groups.

Reporting to the Media and PR Director, you will play a central role in executing the company's global communications strategy while managing the day-to-day relationship with PR agencies, journalists, partners and internal stakeholders across multiple international markets.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with several years of agency or in-house PR experience who is passionate about sport, understands international media and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

What you’ll be doing
Global PR Management
  • Support the execution of the company's global communications strategy across all business units.
  • Coordinate and manage relationships with multiple PR agencies across different international markets.
  • Ensure consistent messaging, brand positioning and communications standards across all regions.
  • Develop, review and distribute press releases, media advisories, corporate announcements and executive communications.
  • Coordinate media outreach around product launches, partnerships, sponsorships, rights acquisitions, corporate milestones and major sporting events.
Media Relations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, broadcasters, producers and industry influencers.
  • Proactively identify media opportunities across business, technology and sports publications.
  • Coordinate interviews, media briefings and executive appearances.
  • Prepare media lists, briefing documents and spokesperson talking points.
  • Monitor international media coverage and provide regular reporting and analysis.
Corporate Communications
  • Support executive communications across senior leadership.
  • Help develop corporate narratives that strengthen the company's reputation globally.
  • Coordinate communications around investment activity, strategic partnerships and corporate announcements.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across marketing, commercial, legal, product and leadership teams.
Social & Executive Communications
  • Manage and coordinate the company's corporate social media presence, with a primary focus on LinkedIn.
  • Support senior executives in developing thought leadership content.
  • Draft posts, announcements and executive communications that reinforce the company's positioning.
  • Ensure consistency across all corporate digital communications.
Crisis Communications
  • Support the preparation and execution of crisis communication plans.
  • Coordinate rapid responses with internal stakeholders and external agencies when required.
  • Monitor potential reputational risks and elevate issues appropriately.
  • Help maintain crisis communication guidelines and response frameworks.
Events & Industry Relations
  • Support communications around international events, conferences, sponsorship activations and sports properties.
  • Coordinate press attendance, media accreditation and on-site communications.
  • Build relationships with industry organisations, governing bodies and strategic partners.
What you’ll bring
  • 3–5 years of experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications or Media Relations.
  • Previous experience within the sports industry, sports media, sports rights, entertainment or a fast‑growing international brand is strongly preferred.
  • Native English speaker or fully bilingual.
  • Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills.
  • Strong understanding of international media landscapes.
  • Experience managing external PR agencies.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting senior executives and leadership communications.
  • An exceptional communicator with outstanding written English.
  • Passionate about sport and the global sports industry.
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Able to balance strategic thinking with flawless day‑to‑day execution.
  • Naturally proactive, curious and solutions‑oriented.
  • Highly organised, detail‑driven and capable of managing competing priorities.
  • Confident interacting with senior executives, international partners and media.
