Job summary

IBA Proton Therapy is seeking a Medical Physicist to support acceptance and commissioning of proton therapy equipment and provide expert feedback to product teams. You will build strong relationships with healthcare professionals at sites under installation and during clinical operation, and help validate medical physics aspects of centers.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Medical Physics or Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in Radiotherapy as Medical Physicist.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% (up to 6 weeks blocks).

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships with healthcare professionals at sites under installation and in clinical operation.
• Support the site team in medical physics topics and validate proton therapy centers.
• Perform acceptance testing with end-users on recurrent products.
• Train and support customers to use equipment safely.
• Report and document interventions with detailed accuracy.
• Provide on-site and/or remote product application support to customers.
• Provide continuous structured customer product feedback to Clinical Solution Group and Product Management.
• Coach other product experts.
