Job summary

Hitachi Europe S.A. in Madrid is seeking a Site Service Engineer to support the Proton Therapy project. You will service, maintain, and provide operational support for the Proton Beam Therapy System as part of the Hitachi site team under the Site Manager.

The role requires hands-on engineering with strong problem-solving skills, focus on system performance, reliability, and customer service. English and Spanish proficiency is essential, with willingness to work varied shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering or related field; non-Spanish degrees must be homologated by Spanish authorities.
• Minimum 2 years in maintenance of industrial facilities, medical devices, nuclear power equipment, or electrical engineering.
• Ability to read and apply engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system performance and improve reliability and efficiency.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance independently or with a team.
• Execute work orders per procedures and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and operational requirements.
• Support deployment of new technologies, products, and processes.
• Respond to service requests and maintain clear communication with customers.
