Job summary

PLD Space in Elche, Spain, seeks a Propulsion Integration Engineer to define integration processes for rocket propulsion components and ensure proper workshop follow-up for execution. The role focuses on assembling engines, establishing QA procedures, and collaborating across design, analysis, and manufacturing teams.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in aerospace/mechanical engineering and 2+ years in multidisciplinary assembly, with fluency in Spanish and English and hands-on experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience with assembly and integration of complex systems in aerospace/related industries.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Development, implementation, and optimization of assembly procedures for rocket engine systems and propulsive components; create manuals, work orders, and post-assembly reports.
• Assemble rocket engines including combustion chambers and fluid systems.
• Provide technical support during assembly procedures and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Design, Analysis, Supply Chain and Manufacturing to improve quality and optimize operations.
• Define tooling requirements in collaboration with Manufacturing.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Implement quality assurance processes per specs and standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized integration environment.
• Provide technical support during engine test campaigns.
