Job summary

PLD Space in Elche, Spain is seeking a Propulsion Design Engineer (Feed) to design and develop feed systems for launch vehicles and spacecraft. You will ensure performance, reliability and efficiency of the feed while supporting manufacturing and assembly processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, 3+ years of experience, and strong CAD with CATIA/Siemens NX and PDM tools. Fluent Spanish and English are highly valued in cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• >3 years of relevant technical experience.
• Experience in design and routing of fluid systems.
• Experience applying Design for Manufacture (DFM).
• High CAD competence and use of PDM tools.

Responsibilities

• Participate in liquid propulsion subsystem system design and architecture.
• Design main feed components and support structures.
• Create 2D drawings and support production/assembly.
• Conduct propulsion configuration trade studies.
• Collaborate with Structures, M&P, Quality teams.
• Generate BOMs for production/assembly.
• Assist suppliers and resolve design issues in production.
• Document design methodologies and create user guides for internal use.
