Job summary

PLD Space in Elche, Spain, is seeking a Structures Integration Engineer to lead the integration of rocket structures and ensure workshop execution of assembly processes. You will work with design and supply chain to improve quality and streamline operations in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in aerospace or mechanical engineering, 2+ years in aerospace assembly, and proficiency with NX CAD, ERP, and MS Office. English and Spanish fluency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, manufacturing, mechanical engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience with assembly and integration of complex systems in aerospace or similar industry.
• Hands-on project experience with structures and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of GD&T and mechanical design fundamentals.
• Proficiency with CAD (NX preferred), 3D models, and 2D drawings.
• Experience with ERP systems and BOM structures.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize assembly procedures for rocket sections.
• Create assembly manuals, work orders, inspections, and reports.
• Perform aerospace structure assembly and mechanical fastener work.
• Provide technical support during assembly and solve problems.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing to improve quality and ease of operations.
• Assist with tooling and equipment design for efficient hardware assembly.
• Maintain a highly structured integration environment and document non-conformances.
• Support quality assurance processes and root cause corrective actions.
