Job summary

PLD Space is seeking a Propulsion Integration Engineer in Elche, Spain. You will define and implement assembly procedures for rocket engines and propulsive components, performing assembly, testing, and QA to move products from prototype to scalable production.

The role requires aerospace engineering background, hands-on experience with mechanical and high‑pressure fluid systems, and collaboration with design and manufacturing teams to continuously improve quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering or another relevant field.
• Proven+2 year experience with assembly and integration of complex, multi-disciplinary systems in aerospace, aviation, automotive or similar quality-oriented industries.
• Hands-on project and assembly experience with mechanical or/and high pressure fluid systems.
• Experience with CAD software (NX desired), 3D models and 2D engineering drawings.
• Experience with ERP systems and BOM structures.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Development, implementation, and optimization of assembly procedures for rocket engines and propulsive components.
• Assembly of rocket engines, fluid systems and others, including testing.
• Technical support and problem solving during assembly procedures.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing to improve quality and assembly.
• Establish a highly structured integration environment and ensure safety.
