Job summary

SilverBack is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to manage, develop, and update detailed project schedules for a major industrial construction project in Huelva, Spain.

You will track progress, monitor critical paths, and coordinate with site leadership to ensure milestones are met safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This is a full-time contract for about 9 months.

Proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Project is required; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Scheduler or Planner on major industrial, energy, or construction projects.
• Proficient with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred; English or Spanish alone also considered.
• Ability to work independently with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and baseline complex project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Monitor baseline schedules, analyze variances, track critical paths, and flag risks to leadership.
• Gather progress data from site management and contractors to update schedules and produce reports.
• Collaborate with site management, engineering, procurement and construction teams to align schedules.
• Perform schedule impact analyses for scope changes, delays, or acceleration plans.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to work independently in managing, developing, and updating detailed project schedules. In this role, you will be responsible for tracking project progress, monitoring critical paths, and coordinating with project leadership to ensure key milestones are met safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule Development & Baseline Control: Create, maintain, and baseline complex project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Progress Tracking & Monitoring: Monitor baseline schedules, analyze variances, track critical paths, and highlight potential delays or risks to project leadership.
• Data Integrity & Reporting: Gather progress data from site management, discipline leads, and contractors to update schedules regularly and produce comprehensive project reports.
• Interdisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate continuously with site management, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure schedule alignment.
• Change Management & What-If Analysis: Perform schedule impact analyses for scope changes, delays, or acceleration plans to support project decision-making.

Requirements

• Software Proficiency: Proven, hands‑on experience and proficiency working independently with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred; however, candidates who speak only English or only Spanish will also be considered.
• Experience: Demonstrated track record as a Project Scheduler or Planner on major industrial, energy, or construction projects.
• Autonomy & Soft Skills: Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision, combined with excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
