Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Project Scheduler to oversee the planning of large long‑term industrial projects from our Madrid HQ in San Sebastián de los Reyes. The role is a full‑time hybrid position working between office and remote sites in Spain.

You will partner with Project Managers, Engineering and Procurement to develop schedules, monitor progress and provide reliable information to support project decisions.

Formación

• 5+ years of project management experience on long‑term industrial projects.
• Knowledge of scheduling principles: critical path, dependencies, milestones, baselines and schedule variance analysis.
• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Business.
• Technical skills: Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Earned Value Management (EVM), PMP, PMI-SP or AACE.
• English and Spanish proficiency, Italian working proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a detailed project schedule throughout the project lifecycle.
• Establish baseline schedules based on project scope, milestones and contractual requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, engineering, and procurement to collect progress information and update schedules.
• Monitor progress against baseline and flag deviations, risks and delays.
• Perform critical path and schedule variance analysis and help develop mitigation plans.
• Review WBS, dependencies, milestones and sequencing to ensure schedules are realistic.
• Prepare schedule status reports, forecasts and performance information for stakeholders.
• Support project reviews with accurate status, trends and milestones.
• Support EVM, forecasting, risk management and performance analysis.

About the role:

As Project Scheduler, you will oversee the planning of our large long‑term industrial projects.

You will partner with Project Managers, Engineering, Procurement to develop project schedules, monitor progress, identify potential delays and provide reliable information to support project decision‑making.

You will report to the Project Controls Supervisor and be located at our Madrid HQ in San Sebastián de los Reyes. This is a full‑time hybrid remote/in‑office role.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Maintain a detailed project schedule throughout the project lifecycle.
• - Establish project baseline schedules following project scope, milestones and contractual requirements.
• - Work with Project Managers, project teams and other partners to collect progress information and ensure accurate schedule updates.
• - Monitor project progress against the approved baseline and identify schedule deviations, risks, constraints and potential delays.
• - Perform critical path and schedule variance analysis and help develop mitigation or recovery plans.
• - Review project scope, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), dependencies, milestones and sequencing of activities to ensure schedules are realistic and achievable.
• - Prepare regular schedule status reports, progress updates, forecasts and project performance information for Project Managers and other partners.
• - Support project review meetings by providing accurate information, project status, trends, risks and milestones.
• - Support Project Controls activities such as Earned Value Management (EVM), forecasting, risk management and performance analysis.
• - Contribute to the continuous improvement of project planning, scheduling and reporting processes.

Qualifications:

• - Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Business
• - 5+ years of project management experience in long‑term industrial projects
• - Knowledge of scheduling principles: critical path, dependencies, milestones, baselines and schedule variance analysis
• - Technical skills: Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Earned Value Managament (EVM), PMP, PMI-SP or AACE
• - English and Spanish proficiency, Italian working proficiency
• - Ability to travel
