Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Project Scheduler to oversee the planning of large long‑term industrial projects from our Madrid HQ in San Sebastián de los Reyes. The role is a full‑time hybrid position working between office and remote sites in Spain.

You will partner with Project Managers, Engineering and Procurement to develop schedules, monitor progress and provide reliable information to support project decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience on long‑term industrial projects.
• Knowledge of scheduling principles: critical path, dependencies, milestones, baselines and schedule variance analysis.
• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Business.
• Technical skills: Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Earned Value Management (EVM), PMP, PMI-SP or AACE.
• English and Spanish proficiency, Italian working proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a detailed project schedule throughout the project lifecycle.
• Establish baseline schedules based on project scope, milestones and contractual requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, engineering, and procurement to collect progress information and update schedules.
• Monitor progress against baseline and flag deviations, risks and delays.
• Perform critical path and schedule variance analysis and help develop mitigation plans.
• Review WBS, dependencies, milestones and sequencing to ensure schedules are realistic.
• Prepare schedule status reports, forecasts and performance information for stakeholders.
• Support project reviews with accurate status, trends and milestones.
• Support EVM, forecasting, risk management and performance analysis.
